The annual Black Santa Sit-out for charities, founded by Dean Sammy Crooks in 1976, takes place on the steps of St Anne's Cathedral in the weeks before Christmas every year. Dean Stephen Forde will begin his fourth Black Santa Sit-out on Monday 13th December 2021. He will be on the steps each day until Christmas Eve (with the exception of Sunday 19th December). This year funds raised for over 200 charities will include those charities which have a special focus on supporting those who have arrived in our Community as refugees. All funds raised will be distributed at the Good Samaritans Service which will be held on the first Sunday in February. However, fundraising for the Black Santa Appeal continues all year round and your donation will be very welcome and will help us to help others in our community.

Please note the total shown here is online donations only and does not include cash or postal donations.

We thank you for your support!
