St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast

Support the ongoing work and ministry of Belfast Cathedral

About us

Belfast Cathedral is home to beautiful works of art - mosaics, textiles, carvings, stained glass and many historical artefacts. This is a sacred space, a living, working Cathedral, open to people of all traditions and faiths. However during the restrictions of the current Covid pandemic, our cathedral building is closed to visitors, and the continuing ministry and services of the cathedral are on-line only.

Please join us in person for our Sunday morning Cathedral Worship at 11.00am, or Choral Evensong at 3.30pm on Sunday afternoons.

Throughout the pandemic the costs of running and maintaining our building in the heart of Belfast's Cathedral Quarter are still enormous. Any donation you can make supports the ministry, music and witness of the cathedral though this pandemic, and ensures that our doors are kept open for all. In this way you will help us to further the work to which we are called by Christ in a city that needs this Cathedral to be active and involved in its life. We thank you for your support.

You can also support the Belfast Black Santa Appeal using a separate section of this website. In the weeks before Christmas 2020, despite the Covid Pandemic, £230,000 was raised. All of this money was distributed to 232 local charities in February 2021.

You can donate in person to the 2021 Black Santa Sit-out Appeal which this year runs from 9.30am-4.30pm, from Monday 13th December to Christmas Eve (except Sunday 19th). You can support us online by going to the Black Santa page of this website.

Once again, thank you.
